Hola and Buenos Nachos, AJ! My favorite cocktail? Well, once when I was eighteen, there was this guy who had the HUGEST\u2026um\u2026er\u2026yeah. That\u2019s not the kind of cocktail you were looking for, is it? Maybe\u2026heh heh heh\u2026let\u2019s go with my stand-by, the Appletini, especially if I\u2019m sitting anywhere with T.C. Blue. Of course, if I\u2019m with Patricia Logan, it\u2019s the Watermelon Sakitini. Unless I\u2019m at Bon Chon in NYC for Korean fried chicken with my little brother. In that case, it\u2019s either the Watermelon Martini or the Lychee Martini, which is typically followed by bad Karaoke. Ooh, and a nice Long Island Ice Tea if I\u2019m with G.A. Hauser!<\/strong><\/p>\n 2. I wanna know about the guy with the big um…you know…ahem. What was your favorite toy growing up and do you still have it?<\/p>\n I was a product of the Star Wars toy era. And while I don\u2019t still have all of the ships, I do have all of my original action figures and some of the toys from that era. Science Fiction was a wonderful world for me to live in and even though there were princesses and female action figures, the guys always ended up in private quarters with each other and hooked up. The adults never knew, which undoubtedly was in my favor. \u201cOh, look! Han Solo is pinning down that bounty hunter and threatening him with that light saber between his legs.\u201d Yeah, let\u2019s go with that.<\/strong><\/p>\n 3. \u00a0Han Solo is sooo hot! Speaking of hot, do you write naked?<\/p>\n There have been nights when I\u2019ve been in bed naked writing. I tell my husband he can have \u201call this\u201d when he\u2019s ready for bed and wants it, then I\u2019ll sit there writing 10,000 words waiting several hours for him to wonder if I\u2019ve fallen asleep so he can sneak into the bedroom. Half Asian men are never satisfied, and the moment they are satisfied, they become dissatisfied with themselves for even thinking they were satisfied. And watching that satisfies me, which only serves to irritate him, which satisfies me even more. It\u2019s all about the satisfaction in the marriage.<\/p>\n 4. That answer is both satisfying and intriguing! Half Asian men are never satisfied? Wow! So tell me, what is your favorite part of your husband’s body?<\/p>\n His hands, and they are exquisite! There\u2019s just something about his well-manicured, thin fingers that drives me wild. And they\u2019re freakishly strong. I\u2019m not exaggerating. If he puts the cap on a bottle of soda or anything else, he tightens it so bloody much that I have to get one of those grip strips to open the damn thing. Watching me struggle satisfies him, which only serves to irritate me, which satisfies him even more. With all this satisfaction, is it any wonder he feels we don\u2019t need to actually have sex?<\/strong><\/p>\n 5. You’re stuck on a deserted island after a three hour tour that goes awry. Name six people alive or dead that you’d like to be marooned with…and your fantasy castaway meal.<\/p>\n I\u2019d love to sit on the beach and have conversations with William Powell. He was an incredible actor and, from what I\u2019ve read, an equally incredible human being. I always wanted to meet Johnny Carson, too. The stories he could tell\u2026 Who else? Stephen King. I don\u2019t write horror, but the opportunity to riff off the guy would be an experience. I\u2019d also like to talk to my mentor, Milt Ford, again. He was a major guiding force in my learning the craft of writing, is probably responsible for my becoming a writer, and he was always, always supportive of everything I did. Hell of a listener, too. Would love to have singer\/songwriter Martha Davis along since I\u2019m sure she\u2019d have her guitar. That woman can sing!!! Finally, J.P. Barnaby.
